Rough Elbows and Knees

Elbows and knees are the last places to soften and the first to go back.

The skin there is thicker, has fewer oil glands and gets folded and rubbed all day. It is not a hydration problem, it is a barrier problem — which is why hydrating creams keep needing to be reapplied.

A concentrated balm gives that skin something to hold. Used consistently, the texture changes; after that most people find once a day keeps it.

Why it goes grey or ashy

What looks like discolouration on elbows and knees is usually a build-up of dry, dead surface skin catching the light differently. Soften it and the tone evens out on its own. There is nothing to bleach and nothing to scrub away hard.

The same jar covers the rest

Heels, hands, knuckles, cuticles, shins. One balm rather than a shelf of targeted creams, which is the point of a formula concentrated enough to work anywhere.

Eight ingredients, no water. A 4 fl oz jar lasts most people four to six months.
