Cracked Heels

Cracked heels do not come from dry skin alone.

They come from pressure. Skin thickens where you stand, and thick skin splits instead of stretching. That is why a light lotion disappears into it without changing anything — it never gets past the surface.

A water-free balm behaves differently. There is nothing in it to evaporate, so it stays where you put it and keeps working overnight.

How to use it on heels

Apply to clean, dry feet before bed. Socks help, but they are not essential. It works best after a heel file or exfoliant, because the balm reaches further once the hardest layer is off.

How fast it works depends on how thick the skin is and how consistently you use it. Applied nightly, most people find the skin feels softer and less rough over the first few weeks. Consistency matters more than quantity.

Why this one

Eight ingredients, no water. Shea butter, coconut oil and castor oil for the repair, beeswax to seal it in overnight, tea tree and peppermint for the way it feels going on. A 4 fl oz jar lasts most people four to six months.
